Divine Divine... Finally made time to pop by Divine yesterday. The store seems smaller than what i expected and they didn't have many off-the-rack gowns for me to select from. Kim, the designer, picked a couple of pcs for me to try, advising me on which neckline's suitable for my build/ frame. Honestly, i think i look awful in them... They are simply too frilly & "romantic" for my liking. I suppose her gowns only look great on stick-thin models but when u really put on them, it was like "yeeee...".
Hmm, wonder why it's the top choice (or at least recommendation) amongst ex-brides i have spoken with. I suppose i was never a really "girly" girl... the trimmings, organza layered over satin, flowery designs aren't just "ME". I suppose the bridal hunt continues... i'll probably resume after the 27th, when my mid-term assignments are all over. At this moment, seems that Dang's gowns are still my preference. At least, i feel that they are more "ME". Afterall, i suppose every bride has to feel gd in the gown that she's wearing. Only when u feel good, u'll look gd... Hunting shall resume!!!
