Yes, i bought my matrimonial home!

I made no. 24 mine!!! Yes!!! No more house hunting, no more calling of agents! Which means, i need to kickstart my renovations!
I really like the house & i never quite thought we'd be able to find a home that fitted all our criterias. KL insisted on a NS facing, while i really wanted the condo-styled layout. He wanted the house to be new and purchased frm 1st owner, while i wanted it near amenties. This unit that we bought is located on the mid-floor of the new Clementi Heights, right opposite the Clementi town centre. It's only a 3 yr old unit (the previous owner was a SERS case) and best of all, the toilet pipes are all concealed! I know i am a freak @ such things but erm, i really hate the site of the pipes in the toilet & yes! My new house doesn't have them!
So happy!!!! Beaming with delight! In fact, while the house is pretty steep in value, i guess we are buying it for the excellent location. Not to mention that the future bus interchange (opening 2011) will be a hub + shopping centre!
Here's the floorplan:

24 and counting

Nah, it ain't my age. I passed that. I saw House no. 24 today - a 4A unit @ Clementi Heights along Clementi Ave 3. The block is only 3yrs old and honestly, it's really a "thumbs up" EXCEPT for the price. Unit is valued at S$505K & well, kinda steep for public housing.

I has been tiring visiting houses. Everytime u are hopeful about one, it turns out either the layout ain't ideal, or the feeling just isn't right. I am so sick of packing house visits on weekends. Frankly, i can't understand why people tell me house hunting is a fun task. In fact, i think planning for weddings are! House hunting is tedious & i ain't that excited to own my matrimonial home. As for no. 24, i am leaving it to Fate. Let's see if destiny will allow me to own this home.
