The COEs shot up so much and kinda dampen our mood to get a new car. We were considering an OPC since it suits our needs and really, the cost of owning one is so easy on the pocket. Alas, with the skyhigh COE prices, i guess my interest to own a Beetle before 30 is diluted. Figured out that cabs and MRTs are the way to go. Let's see what happens in the months forward but for now, I am officially car-less and an advocate of the LTA - go public!
Whether it's sunset or sunrise, it really depends on you...

CRACK
Stress levels increasing. Work's not really easy and bumps are all around. I hate spending lonely nights in the office and working for what i sometimes (unfortunately) agree that it's unnecessary. It has come a point that i am forever counting down to weekends and it's when Friday really comes, that my mind is at ease.I guess no one really has it easy when it comes to work. Overcoming challenges and facing tough situations are all part and parcel of one's day job. I guess fatigue kicks in when u are so sick of seeing your workstation and that u absolutely dread Mondays. I guess for some, the only thing that keeps them going is either committment, or addiction (to the source of bread and butter). For me, it's more of the latter.
I use the happiest day of the month to spur myself on, and that the sacrifice for 'bread and butter'is being able to withstand crap. I know i am not the only one thinking like that. Call it self-consolation but i guess it's better than wallowing in misery and self-whines.
2 more days to the lovely weekend.

Our new PC
Yes! We battled the IT Show at Suntec to snag the HP Pavilion gaming PC at $1599, with MS Office 2007 inclusive!!! This is a price reduction of $100. not including the savings we got for the MS Office bundle!
It's a cash & carry and oh boy, dragging the PC and free printer thru the crowd is no easy feat! In any case, this is all set up and yes!!! A 23" LCD monitor much to KL's pleasure. He can finally play his LAN games...
