Back from BJ with new discoveries

It's really been a while since we went on a family trip. I think the last was when i was 25, to South Korea.

BJ is really a city filled with rich Chinese culture and heritage. I am thankful that I am competent with the language so getting around wasn't tough. English is a rarely spoken language there and even if these folks did, u probably have a hard time deciphering what they are trying to say.

Shopping was good. Bought good quality pearls and I must say their local labels are nothing but expensive and i only bought 2 dresses from their lower-end stores. No wonder the Chinese are travelling to shop abroad. At least they are assured that what they buy from overseas are authentic. The level of "imitation" in China is superbly impressive. From clothes, makeup brushes, thumb drives, memory cards to even skincare (yes yeeks!), everything can be fake.

I so look forward to the next holiday. And it's definitely London and Paris in October.
