I am going on holiday again... Again another impulse thought that turned into reality. My parents wanted to go to Shantou over the May Day break and wanted me to head along but nah, i'd rather spend the time to go to places that i really wanna go. Stroke of Fate i suppose. SIA was having promotional fares to Beijing (only $698 all inclusive) so well, in a matter of hrs, decision made to head to the Chinese capital.
I was never a "china" person but i guess the rich heritage and culture of Beijing really made me keen to visit the place. Of course, it's also one of the rare opportunities to be holidaying with the parents. I think the last time we went on holidays together was when i was 25 - to Korea!!!
OK, back to researching on what to do and where to stay!
