It's branch visits again!

Time of the year to make my rounds to the branches to audit their materials and ambience. Oh well, also that time of the year where the compliants & grievances will flow in. Afterall, like i always say "The easiest job in the whole is to TALK." Afterall, no 1 will take the responsiblity to make things better anyway.

Sometimes, i get dampened by the spirit that these colleagues of mine have. Life in the office is a constant battle. I try to push myself to think of how better things can be improved and how can we "spice" up our job despite the constant "tai-chi-ing". I hate to leave stones unturned & if there's really something that needs to be done, folks around should stop pushing the responsibility and look at the macro aspect of the situation. Very often, when situations occur and mistakes are made, alot of effort is spent on investigating why the mistake occured and who should be responsible for it. However, why not spend the time to consider how can we rectify the situation and project the right image to partners & colleagues? When milk's split, no point asking who split it & start the scolding-scrap. Why not spend the time picking up the pieces and move on & most important of all, gather key learnings from the error? I do my best to abide by this practice. At least things can moving, rather than remain stagnated.

I suppose power & the struggle for visibility is the cause for such behaviour. It's gonna be like that everywhere. I'll just stay true to my beliefs.
